Well I just realized it has been a while since I posted something. You know how it is we had Thanksgiving and parties so I haven't sat down and typed anything but here I am.
Going back a little, we had a party for the FBLA in Jacksonville. This is the second time we've been able to do their event and it was a lot of fun. I know David had a great time and would want to say hello to the guests from Lake Butler and we hope to see you at prom.
I got to be a part of the reception for the new Mr. and Mrs. Steven Schneider. The pictures in the slide show below are from their reception. It was held in Cooper Hall at Camp Blanding. Very nice place and the view was amazing out the back windows during sunset.
Sherman just did an event at the Regal Cinemas for an advanced showing of We Are Marshal. If you haven't seen the movie he said it was very good. While I am on the subject of Sherman I know that he would want me to convey his feelings and say GO GATORS!!! They are the SEC champions and according to ESPN they will play Ohio State for the National Championship so we will see what happens.
Saturday night Sherman and I were at the holiday party for Sandvik at the Hilton. They always have a great turn out and they put on a party every year. They had casino, the Gator game, us DJing, and we even had Gameshow. I will see you guys this summer at the picnic.
David got to go out to McIntosh and DJ a Sweet 16 for Amanda. He said it was a wild party. Happy Birthday Amanda from all of us at Wellspring Entertainment.
Well that is enough for now. We have several events this week so I will let you know how those go later. Be safe and remember there are only 21 shopping days until Christmas. I better go shopping soon.

Gainesville Bridal Show
Well I just wanted to say that the Gainesville bridal show was great. David and I worked the booth all day and we got to talk to many wonderful people. I will be getting a copy of our book out just as soon as I get it from the printer. This includes those that asked for one at the Ocala show as well.
I know that there were many DJ companies to choose from at the show. I am sure that each one of them does a wonderful job. I do want to leave you with the a few questions to ask.
1. Do they require you to sign a contract? This not only protects the DJ but it protects you as a client as well.
2. Do they have a current business license? This may not seem important but think about it this way. If they don't have a business license than they are breaking the law and is that who you want for your special day.
3. Do they have general liability insurance? This again protects you as well as the DJ in case of an accident.
4. Where do they get the music they use for your event? This is another one that most people don't care about but it again goes to ethics.
These are just a few items to think about and we haven't even discussed performance yet. Well hopefully I've given you a few things to think about. I always welcome you feedback and I hope to hear from you soon.

Best Weekend in Company History
Whew! What a weekend we had at Wellspring Entertainment. It all started on Friday night with a Sweet 16 party for Chelsea. The Karaoke was awesome (there were some talented teens at the party) congrats to Eric for winning the best song award. Happy Birthday Chelsea!
Saturday started very early for a DJ. The folks at Waste Management sponsored us to DJ for the America Recycles Day at the art show in downtown Gainesville. It was a lot of fun but we had to be there at 8AM but we woke up quickly when the Mid Life Crisis Band cranked it up. I just want to shout out to Juggles the Clown (thanks for the cowboy hat) and to Hillary the Magic Man. If you look at the pictures you may not believe it but it is true, Elvis was actually there as well. What a show he put on for the crowd that was there.
I finished the day off with a birthday party for Marie who just turned 80 years young. She was something else and so were the rest of her guests. Thanks for the new rendition of Grease I won't soon forget it.
David and Sherman got to do the wedding reception for Amanda and Jeff so congratulations to you guys and we wish you all the best. Also Sherman got to do day 2 of the America Recycles Day while I got to spend some time with the family and break in my new grill (an early Christmas present from my parents).
Thanks again to everyone that allowed us to be a part of your event this past weekend. It's because of you that we had the best weekend yet. I am sure there will be more weekends like this to come and I can't wait to see YOU there!

Ocala Bridal Show
I have heard great things about the bridal show in Ocala on Sunday (October 22nd) from David and Sherman. I had the privilege of spending the weekend around Asheville, North Carolina with my wife. We attended the Festival of Marriage at Ridgecrest for our 10th year and it was wonderful as always. For those couples getting married let me suggest that you make the time to do something like this with your spouse because it really makes a difference.
Back to the show. I want to say thank you to David and Sherman for being there to help answer questions and help showcase Wellspring Entertainment. I hope that you had an opportunity, if you were there, to talk to these guys and find out a little more about us.
There is one thing that I would like to say that probably doesn't get said often enough. Thank you for the privilege of allowing us to be a part of your events. It really means a lot to me to be able to share in these special moments in life. Sure I know your saying "of course he's glad to be there he's getting paid" but I really do cherish sharing these times with you. I am reminded of a wedding I performed at a while ago. The groom had a degenerative eye disorder that was causing him to lose his vision. A member of the family told me that this very well could be one of the last things he will get to see and thanked me for helping to make it special. I realized that there is more to this than money. We have the unique opportunity to be involved with people we don't know at very important and meaningful times in their lives. I am truly thankful for this opportunity.
So to all the clients we've had in the past thank you for allowing Wellspring Entertainment to be there and share these time with you. To those that are not yet clients I want to thank you as well for at least considering to allow Wellspring Entertainment into your lives even for a short time.

Welcome
I wanted to create a place where I could get information out and this seems to be the best idea. You will be able to view pictures from events, actually hear how events went and on occasion I will post new ideas. I can't wait to get started and I would enjoy your feedback.
